Why is an upsell product not showing in the cart drawer?
Overview
You set up cart upsell, but one of the products does not show in the cart drawer. Check if the product is already in the cart.
By default, cart upsell shows only products that are not in the cart. When a shopper adds an upsell product, or the same product from its product page, the product leaves the upsell list. This keeps the cart drawer from suggesting what the shopper already has.

This applies to every Cart Page Upsell offer and to Use AI Recommended UpSells. When the shopper removes the product from the cart, it shows in the upsell list again.
Tip: Upsell your whole catalog in a small store
If your store has only a few products, you can use this behavior to always suggest the rest of your catalog:
- Go to Cart Drawer > Body > Up-sell > Create Manual UpSells and create a Cart Page Upsell offer.
- Under Product based triggers, select All products.
- Under Offer > Manual, click Add Product and add all products of your store.
- Click Save.
Whatever the shopper adds to the cart, the upsell section shows all the other products, the ones that are not in the cart yet.

Show products that are already in the cart
There is no setting for this in the app. If you want cart upsell to also show products that are already in the cart, contact us through the in-app chat. The support team turns it on for your store.
