How to set up cart upsell

Overview

The suggested products will be displayed in the cart. Cart upsell helps boost customers’ shopping demand and allows them to easily purchase related products in your store.

We have 2 options that you can use to set up recommendations in the cart.

User Guide

1. Enable Upsell.

Open Cart drawer and scroll down to Upsell field.
Tick to checkbox Enable Up-sell.

2. Recommendation upsell options.

Option 1: Use AI Recommendation Upsells.
Xboost will recommend based on products in your cart, collection, new arrivals, related items…You do not to set up or change anything. If you want to customize upsell product please use option 2.
Option 2: Create Manual UpSells.
You can customize upsell products as you want. Please follow step 3 to create manual upsells.

3. Create manual upsells.

Select Create Manual UpSells and click on Create offer.

Select trigger product:
The trigger product is the primary product that the customer intends to add to cart. You can select specific products (up to a maximum of 5) or all products.

Select offer product:
The offer product is the product displayed in the cart when the trigger product is added.
We have 2 types offer: Manual and automatic.
– Manual: You can choose specific offer products (up to a maximum of 5)
– Automatic: You can choose 1 recommendation source. We have 5 types for you.
