Buy X Get Y & BOGO discount types (updated)
Overview
Xboost: AI Upsell & Bundles allows you to enable discount when creating the offer. We’ve provided Buy X Get Y & BOGO discount types for a Buy X Get Y & BOGO offer.
We have 4 discount types for a Buy X Get Y & BOGO offer. The discount will be applied once the condition is met. You can configure the condition and the discount type as you want.
User Guide
To trigger a discount for the offer you have to enable discount when creating a offer:
Default price
The price of products will be original price.
- Select Default price for discount type.
Bundle discount
The discount will be applied to Y products if the customer purchases the required X products, based on configuration before.
- Select Bundle discount for discount type.
- Input Unit and Amount.
Example:
You configure X= 2A + 1B, Y= 1C, Unit = % or $ and Amount = 50. This means that if the customer purchases 2A + 1B they can get C at a 50% or $50 discount.
Fixed price for the bundle
The customer can purchase Y at a fixed price if the customer purchases the required X products, based on configuration before.
- Select Fixed price for the bundle for discount type.
- Input Unit and Amount.
Example:
You configure X= 2A + 1B, Y= 1C and Amount = 10. This means that if the customer purchase 2A + 1B they can buy C for $10.
Free Gift
The customer will receive Y as a free gift if they purchase X products.
- Select Free gift for discount type.
Example:
You configure X= 2A + 1B, Y= 1C. This means that if the customer purchase 2A + 1B they will get C for free.

What is Buy X Get Y variable?
Buy X Get Y variable is a snippet of code that renders details dynamically. By selecting different variables, you will generate specific information for each offer.
How to use fixed bundle variables?
- Click on Variable icon. After clicking the icon, all available options are displayed.
- Select options you want to use.
- The variable is reflected in the preview.
- Click Save to finalize your changes.
