How to customize a recommendation widget

Customizing a recommendation widget can be a great way to tailor the shopping experience for your customers. You can design your widget with your styling and this can make your interactions more efficient and enjoyable.

To customize a recommendation widget follow these detailed steps:

1. Start customizing the widget

Open XBoost: AI Upsell & Bundles, switch to Widget design page then click Customize.

2. Customize the content

You can customize the Content, Appearance and Custom CSS of a widget. Click Content to design the title, add to cart label and to choose whether to display the compare price, price, add to cart button and combined option in a dropdown.

You can preview your design on the Preview site and if needed, you can revert back to the default widget settings by clicking Reset to default.

You can preview with window or mobile format by clicking on the options.

3. Customize the Appearance

Click Appearance to customize layout, colors, text size and photo size.
You can preview your design on the Preview site and if needed, you can revert back to the default widget settings by clicking Reset to default.

4. Customize the Custom CSS

Click Custom CSS to to enhance your designs with personalized styling options, if desired.

5. Save your changes

Once your design is complete, please click Save to finalize your changes.
Visit your store’s product page or the page where you added the widget to ensure everything appears as expected.
