How to translate the sticky add to cart bar

Overview

If your store has more than one language, the bar can show its texts in each language, such as the countdown message, the success message and the button text. The app keeps settings for each language of your store and shows the ones that match the language the shopper browses in.

Before you start

• Add and publish the languages in Shopify: Settings > Languages.

Steps

1. Choose the language to edit

1. In the app menu, click Sticky Add To Cart.
2. Above the preview, open Preview in language and select a language.

The page reloads with the settings of that language.

2. Translate the texts

Type the texts in that language:

• In Announcement: Add to cart success toast and Message for Countdown Timer Bar. Keep {{timer}} in the message.
• In Body: Save amount text, Zero price free tag text, Out of stock text and Button text. Keep {{price}} if you use it.

3. Save

Click Save in the bar at the top of the page. The app saves the settings for the language selected in Preview in language.

Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each language.

Which language the bar uses

The bar uses the settings of the language the shopper browses in. If that language has no settings of its own, the bar uses the language you choose in General Settings > Select default storefront language. See General settings.
