Why is my free shipping bar not showing?

Overview

If the bar does not appear on your store, go through these checks in order.

Checks

1. The app embed is on

The App Status card on the dashboard must show Active. If it shows Disabled, follow How to enable the app embed. If you changed your theme, turn it on in the new theme too.

2. The bar is published and active

On the Free Shipping Bar Upsell page, the bar must be Active. A Draft needs Publish; an Inactive bar needs Activate.

3. You are looking at the right page

Check the Placement step: Page to display, the position (for example Below buy button on product pages), and the products under Display bar for. With Manual Position, the bar shows only where you added the XB: Free shipping block or the code snippet.

4. Country, device and schedule match

  • Geolocation targeting — with Specific countries, the bar shows only when your store's country for the shopper (set by Shopify Markets and the country selector, not by IP address) is one of those countries.
  • Device Targeting and Scheduled time must match the visit.

5. Each message has text

If a message is empty, the bar shows no text at that stage. Check Message, In progress message and Goal reached message.
