How to enable the app embed

Overview

XB Estimated Delivery Date EDD shows delivery estimates through an app embed called XB: Estimated Delivery in your theme. No estimate appears on your store until this app embed is on. You only need to do this once per theme.

Steps

1. Open the app dashboard

In your Shopify admin, go to Apps and open Xboost Estimated Delivery. The Setup guide starts with Activate Xboost Core Script. This step is the app embed.

2. Check the App Status card

  • Active with "Xboost app embedded successfully in the online store." means the app embed is on.
  • Disabled with "App functionalities will be displayed only after you enable the Xboost Core Script." means it is off.

3. Turn on the app embed

  1. Click Add Xboost to your theme in the Setup guide, or Active Xboost script on the App Status card. The theme editor opens.
  2. Open App embeds in the left sidebar and turn on XB: Estimated Delivery.
  3. Click Save.

You can also open the theme editor from Online Store > Themes > Customize. If you switch to a new theme later, turn on the app embed again in that theme.

If you publish an estimate while the app embed is off, the app warns you: "Xboost core script is not added to your theme".
