Why is the delivery date wrong?
Overview
The dates come from the steps you set in the Content step and from the shopper's device date and time. If a date looks wrong, check these settings.
Checks
- Min and max waiting time. Each step adds its days on top of the step before. Check Processing (preparation time) and Delivered (shipping time) separately.
- Cutoff time. After the Processing cutoff time, processing starts the next day, so all dates move by at least one day. The countdown
{counter}then counts down to midnight instead of the cutoff. - Time zone. By default, the cutoff is the same moment for all shoppers, converted to their time zone. Select Ignore customer timezone to use the same clock time for everyone.
- Working days and blocked dates. Days that are not selected in Working days and dates in Blocked dates are skipped. Add your holidays as blocked dates in each step that should skip them.
- Estimate mode. Fastest – Latest delivery (optimistic) starts each step from the earliest date of the step before; Safe delivery window (conservative) starts from the latest date, so its dates are later.
- The shopper's device clock. The app uses the date and time of the shopper's device. A wrong device clock shows wrong dates.
