Why is the cart drawer not showing?

Overview

If your store still opens the theme's cart instead of the XB: AI Cart Upsell Cart Drawer, go through these checks in order.

Checks

1. The app embed is on

On the app dashboard, the App Status card must show Active. If it does not, turn on XB: Sticky Cart Upsell in App embeds in the theme editor and click Save. See Getting started with XB: AI Cart Upsell Cart Drawer.

If you changed your theme, turn on the app embed again in the new theme.

2. The cart drawer is turned on

Open Cart Drawer in the app menu. Cart is active at the top of the page must be on.

3. Your app plan is active

The drawer shows only while your app plan is active. If the page shows Action required with "Subscribe to a plan to activate this feature.", click Choose a plan.

4. The drawer opens from the cart icon and Add to cart

The drawer opens when a shopper clicks the cart icon or adds a product to the cart. Some themes use a cart icon or an Add to cart button the app does not recognize. In that case, contact us through the in-app chat so we can set it up for your theme.
